This suite showcases my ability to create designs encompassing all aspects of a non-profit event’s needs. I built upon the exhibition material to design a logo, signage, and donor gifts.
This exhibit and designs showcase the somewhat underappreciated example of everyday evolution in the peppered moth species observed by UK scientists during the early phases of the Industrial Revolution. I devised this simplistic, grayscale moth design to showcase the Peppered moth species and their role in science’s understanding of the process of evolution.

To fully understand the nature of this project, I extensively researched the exhibition’s material. I learned the smog from the Industrial Revolution settled on nearby trees, thus setting in motion the survival of darker-colored moths and the extinction of lighter ones.
I utilized Adobe Illustrator to create the vector-based design elements and InDesign to lay out the signage. To capture the significance of the changing air quality that led to the Peppered moths’ changes in color, I chose to place the moth graphics upon the bark texture.
